MINDGRINDER Sign With NOCTURNAL ART PRODUCTIONS
December 12, 2003Norwegian extreme metal band MINDGRINDER, featuring ex-SOURCE OF TIDE drummer/keyboardist Cosmocrator, have signed a deal with Nocturnal Art Productions. The group's debut album, "MindTech", was recorded in December 2002 at Akkerhaugen Lydstudio (EMPEROR, ZYKLON, WINDIR) and is scheduled for release in April 2004.
"MindTech", which was originally slated for release through Sound Riot Records (a plan that was eventually abandoned due to the label's "financial problems"),features 10 tracks of "hard-hitting aggressive metal" and includes a video for the track "Fire & Equanimity" as well as "astonishing" artwork by Dragonweb Productions.
Three songs from the group's "Bless the Imbeciles" demo, which landed the band their deal with Sound Riot, are available for download via the group's official web site. Check them out:

MINDGRINDER, already experienced in the live arena, are now putting the final touches to their live set. The band have been given a slot at next year's By:Larm — Norway's biggest music industry event — which is being held Feb. 12-15, 2004 in Bergen. By:Larm combines music-related business conferences and workshops with showcases of up-and-coming bands.
